Chris Heine joined Modivcare in September 2022 as Senior Vice President of Transportation, where he oversees the strategic direction and vision of the company’s non-emergency medical transportation segment. Mr. Heine is a seasoned executive with over two decades of comprehensive financial and leadership experience in the domestic transportation industry, having held influential roles at some of the world’s most renowned companies. Chris has a distinguished track record of leading transformative changes through strategic partnerships that enhance supply chain operations and elevate customer experiences. Throughout his extensive career in the transportation industry, Chris has launched new internal transportation supply modalities, advanced driver technology initiatives resulting in significant cost savings, and enhanced road safety through improved audit mechanisms and the integration of innovative technology.

 

Prior to joining Modivcare, Mr. Heine spent 10 years at Amazon, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s transportation strategies. As Director of North American Transportation Operations, and later as Director of North American Transportation and Shared Services, Chris led numerous high-performing teams and managed a substantial annual transportation budget. Prior to his tenure at Amazon, Chris honed his expertise in the transportation industry through senior and executive roles at FedEx over the course of 7 years, further solidifying his expertise and leadership in the transportation industry.

 

Mr. Heine earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Ashford University and resides in Nashville, Tennessee.
