Barbara Gutierrez joined Modivcare in September 2023 as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). She brings over 30 years of experience in executive and financial leadership roles, and she has a deep background in the healthcare services industry. Gutierrez has a special expertise with high-growth companies and has led transformational business initiatives, as well as strategic and financial transactions.

Prior to joining Modivcare, Gutierrez served as CFO at InnovAge (Nasdaq: INNV), the largest Program of All-Inclusive Care (PACE) provider in the country. Previously, she served as CFO and Chief People Services Officer for Hero Practice Services, a practice management company focused on underserved children. Gutierrez also previously held senior leadership roles with Strad Energy Services, Jones Knowledge Group, PhyCor and HealthOne (HCA).

Gutierrez holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Denver and is a certified public accountant and chartered global management accountant. She is a member of the Board of Directors for LogicMark (Nasdaq: LGMK) and chairs the Audit Committee, and she serves on the advisory board for the University of Denver School of Accountancy.
