What are your passions and interests? 

I love spending time with my family; creating memories is most important to me.   

Who is the most influential person you know?  

The most influential person I know would be my mom. My mom was an immigrant from Jamaica and came from nothing; she worked a minimum wage job until her untimely passing. During my childhood, I remember vividly how she woke up with a smile despite the trials and tribulations she had to encounter every day of her life. 

She made sure my siblings and I had food on the table and clothes on our backs by stretching her paycheck. She never stumbled; she pushed through so much adversity. She is most influential to me because she taught me how to persevere through all obstacles that may come my way. 

What do you want others to know about being a working woman in corporate America?  

I would want others to know there are no limits to what you can do or be in corporate America. For example, when I started out in corporate America, limits were put on me, not based on my abilities but based on what other corporate leaders thought I was capable of. In turn, I had to set goals for myself based on what I knew I was capable of. So, for up-and-coming employees in corporate America, my advice to you is set a bar for yourself, write down a timeline of strategic moves you would like to make, and tap into who you would consider as a mentor. That person will teach and guide you from a professional and intellectual perspective. Once you have gained additional tools and resources, use that to catapult you to the next level.
