What aspects of Modivcare’s culture do you enjoy the most? 

I enjoy working for a company that embraces diversity and encourages personal growth. It is so nice to work in an atmosphere of acceptance and be celebrated as an individual. I never have to feel like I’m being judged when I’m at work, other than how well I do my job. That is refreshing!  

What motivates you to wake up and go to work? 

If I didn’t say money, I’d be lying to you. I’m grateful to have a job. But more than that is knowing that what I’m doing is helping someone in some way.  

What are your 15 minutes of fame? 

On my day off, I’m still working. I am a local drag entertainer and have the distinction of being Atlanta’s only bald drag queen. Anne Drogyny (@anne_drogyny) has consumed my life and has helped me raise thousands of dollars for Atlanta’s LGBTQ+ charities. 

What is the best advice you’ve ever heard? 

“There is never a reason to be unkind to anyone.” – Dr. Charles B. Stacy, my grandfather.
