Fast food consumption continues to grow
As part of our food infographic series, we explored the growth of fast-food consumption by children and adolescents in the U.S. since 2003.
Overall, the intake of fast food by children and adolescents continues to grow despite the known negative effects of consuming these meals. In fact, more than one-third of children and adolescents ate fast food on a given day from 2015-2018, signaling a significant increase from 2010 numbers.
